Mission Statement
Crookston Youth Basketball Association (CYBA) promotes enthusiasm for basketball and emphasizes skill development and fun!

History
The Crookston Youth Basketball Association was formed in the early 1990's by a group of individuals interested in encouraging participation in youth basketball. CYBA's mission is to promote enthusiasm for basketball for Crookston youth along with an emphasis on skill development and fun! CYBA officially sponsors traveling teams for students in grades 3-9.

Summer Shooting Program
Over summer months, students keep track of the baskets they make and then are presented with certificates, balls, bags or sweatshirts, (depending on their totals) at half-time during a varsity game.

Free K-2 Park & Rec Fees
CYBA pays for K-2 Park & Rec Basketball for Crookston School District kids.

Participation Fees
A $20 fee is requested from participating families, however, no one is turned away for inability to pay. Anyone who supports youth basketball in Crookston can be a member for $20 per year, even if they do not have to have children that participate in CYBA.
